Privacy policy.

What we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you keep.

anTee-Up Golf, LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Antee Up Golf mobile application ("App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the App you agree to the practices described here.

SMS / Text Messaging & Consent

When you sign up or log in, Antee Up Golf sends a one-time verification code (OTP) by SMS to the mobile number you provide, to confirm your identity. By entering your mobile number and requesting a code, you consent to receive these transactional / two-factor-authentication (2FA) text messages from us.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us and information generated by your use of the App.

Account information: your display name, email address, date of birth, mobile phone number, and password when you register. If you sign in via Google or Apple, we receive the profile information those services share with us (name and email).

Profile data: your handicap index and any other golf stats you enter.

Round and game data: course selections, scores you enter, round settings, side game configurations, and group or event details you create or participate in.

Payment information: when you add funds or withdraw, payment details are collected and processed by Stripe, Inc. We receive a tokenized reference and summary information (card type, last four digits, transaction amounts) but do not store full card numbers or bank account numbers on our servers.

Communications: messages or support requests you send to us.

Device and usage data: device type, operating system, app version, IP address, crash reports, and feature-usage analytics to help us improve the App.

Push notification token: a device token used to deliver round invitations, wager results, and other App notifications. You can disable notifications in your device settings at any time.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

We do not use your information to set odds, operate a gambling business, or profit from wagering activity between users.

3. Peer-to-Peer Nature of Wager Data

When you configure a wager or side bet in the App, the terms and outcome of that wager are visible to the other players in your round or group. We store this data to calculate and display results. We do not analyze, pool, or use wager outcome data for any commercial purpose beyond operating the App, and we do not share it with third parties for advertising.

4. Information We Share

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:

Service providers: we share information with third-party vendors who help us operate the App, including Stripe (payment processing), Supabase (database and authentication), Telnyx (SMS delivery), and Google Firebase (push notifications and analytics). These providers are contractually required to protect your data and use it only for the services they provide to us.

Other users: your display name and golf data (scores, handicap) are visible to other members of rounds and groups you join. You control who you invite.

Legal requirements: we may disclose information if required to do so by law, subpoena, court order, or governmental authority, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the safety of any person, to address fraud or security issues, or to protect our legal rights.

Business transfers: if the Company is acquired, merges with another company, or sells substantially all of its assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email or a prominent notice in the App before your information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

We do not share your information with third parties for their own marketing or advertising purposes.

5. Stripe and Financial Data

Payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. When you add a payment method or initiate a withdrawal, you are also subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy (available at stripe.com/privacy). We receive summary transaction data from Stripe to display your wallet balance and transaction history, but raw card data never touches our servers.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, regulatory, or fraud-prevention purposes. Aggregated, anonymized data may be retained indefinitely.

7. Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission (TLS), encrypted data storage, and access controls. However, no security system is impenetrable. We cannot guarantee that your information will never be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed despite our best efforts. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.

8. Children

The App is not directed to, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from, anyone under 18 years of age. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected information from a person under 18, we will delete it promptly. If you believe we may have collected such information, please contact us at support@anteeup.golf.

9. Your Choices and Rights

Account data: you may update your profile information at any time within the App.

Text messages: reply STOP to any verification SMS to opt out, or HELP for assistance.

Push notifications: you may disable push notifications in your device's system settings.

Account deletion: you may request deletion of your account by contacting support@anteeup.golf. We will process your request within 30 days subject to any legal retention obligations.

California residents: if you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to request deletion, and the right to opt out of the sale of your information (we do not sell personal information). To exercise these rights, contact us at support@anteeup.golf.

EU/UK residents: if you are located in the European Union or United Kingdom, you may have rights under the GDPR or UK GDPR, including the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing of, or port your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@anteeup.golf.

10. Third-Party Links and Services

The App may contain links to third-party websites or services (for example, golf course websites). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties and encourage you to review their privacy policies.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via the App or by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect, and we will update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the App after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
